What really causes knee pain?
Traditionally, the belief has been that knee pain is frequently the result of long-term biomechanical stress, being overweight, age-related cartilage wear or overly intense physical exercise. Our experience, however, shows that it is mostly overstretched muscles & fasciae that are the cause. They make it so that the cartilage in the knee joints is highly compressed and wears out due to the one-sided pressure.
What helps the knee and what does not?
Many patients with knee problems are prescribed painkillers, injections, physiotherapy or strength training by their doctors.
