Treat your back pain
Back pain is the number 1 widespread disease and everyone suffers from it at least once in the course of their life – some, however, deal with it every single day. Whether it's while standing, sitting, walking or sleeping. Anyone suffering from back pain finds every movement - and, as a consequence, life itself - torturous. Conventional medicine is often no help and prescribes unnecessary therapies, medications and surgeries. These methods of treatment are usually not only ineffective, but also dangerous. The pain returns, becomes chronic, and there's the risk of drug addiction.
Pain specialists and bestselling authors Dr. Petra Bracht and Roland Liebscher-Bracht put their finger on conventional medicine's ineffectiveness with their groundbreaking method for pain treatment and first and foremost address the following three questions:
- What actually causes back pain?
- Why do most people suffer in vain?
- Why is modern medicine unable to help and why does it often seem like there's nothing more that can be done?
The greatest breakthrough: you the sufferer can help yourself. Liebscher & Bracht's pain therapy can quickly relieve back pain and prevent damage to your spine. In this book you'll encounter the most effective exercises as well as special instructions for the osteopressure and foam rolling massage techniques developed by Liebscher & Bracht.
Why do more and more people suffer from back pain every year — despite modern medicine?
From 2007 to 2016, the number of inpatient back pain treatments in Germany rose by a shocking 80%. According to a recent health report carried out by the DAK (German Employees' Health Insurance), 75% of employees currently suffer from back pain; one in seven of them can be considered chronic.
How is that possible when modern medicine has access to the most advanced technology? Studies show that conventional medicine cannot identify a clear cause in 80 to 99% of all back pain cases. These cases are considered "non-specific back pain." But how can the pain be effectively treated if the cause is completely unknown? Surgery and pain medication often seem like the last resort.
A comprehensive study by the Bertelsmann Foundation reveals that, from 2007 to 2015, the number of back operations increased by 71% - but the number of pain patients isn't going down. The study criticizes the fact that operations are performed far too often and too quickly, even though they can often be avoided.
We want to change that
Dr. Petra Bracht, MD is a general practitioner and naturopathic doctor. She has been working as a nutritional and orthomolecular doctor for over 30 years and runs her Liebscher & Bracht private health clinic in Bad Homburg. The main goal of her treatment is to activate the powerful self-healing mechanisms that are inherent in each and every one of us. The most effective way to do so is to optimize patients' diet and exercise habits.
Roland Liebscher-Bracht studied mechanical engineering, but has trained in and taught Asian martial arts and movement throughout his life. This allowed him to develop a completely new, highly effective pain therapy together with his wife. They have been training doctors, alternative practitioners and physiotherapists in their Liebscher & Bracht pain therapy since 2007. Currently over 3000 partner therapists in Germany, Austria and Switzerland treat back pain using their method.
